Menopause hormone therapy
Menopause and perimenopause care from a physician who listens
Hot flashes, night sweats, sleep that falls apart, mood that isn’t yours, brain fog, weight that settles where it never used to. Perimenopause and menopause can change everything, and too many women are told to just live with it. You don’t have to.
How we evaluate it
Dr. Suarez listens first. Then he looks at a full women’s hormone panel (estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, thyroid, cortisol and more), along with your heart, metabolic and standard labs, each scored on our 0 to 6 Longevity Score.
If treatment is right for you
Bioidentical estradiol and progesterone, and other hormones when your labs call for them, dosed for you and adjusted every quarter. Hormone therapy isn’t right for every woman. Before recommending it, Dr. Suarez reviews your personal and family history, including breast cancer, blood clots, stroke and heart disease, and explains the benefits and risks plainly, so the decision is yours and it’s an informed one.
Where it fits in our programs
Essential Hormone ($7,500 a year) or Optimize, which adds your metabolism, body composition and VO₂ max ($12,000 a year). Family plans let you bring your husband or a parent.
Serving Bergen County, the tri-state area and every state except California and Nevada by telemedicine, with labs, scans and infusions at partner facilities near you.
Questions about menopause hormone therapy
Am I too early or too late for hormone therapy?
Age alone doesn’t decide it. Symptoms often start years before your last period, and perimenopause can be treated too. For most healthy women, current guidelines find the benefits most likely to outweigh the risks when hormone therapy starts before age 60 or within 10 years of menopause. Dr. Suarez looks at your timing, your history and your labs, and tells you plainly where you stand.
What’s the difference between bioidentical and other hormones?
Bioidentical hormones have the same chemical structure as the estradiol, progesterone and testosterone your body makes. Some older therapies use hormones that are similar but not identical, such as conjugated estrogens or synthetic progestins. Dr. Suarez prescribes bioidentical hormones, dosed for you and adjusted to your labs, and the same risk review applies to every hormone.
How quickly do symptoms improve?
Many women notice changes in sleep and hot flashes within weeks; we re-check labs at 90 days. Individual results vary.
